Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact is an open-world action role-playing game with “gacha” mechanics. If you don’t know what the word “gacha” means then let me explain. Gacha is a Japanese toy vending machine. Then why did you mention it? Well, I mentioned it because “gacha” in games means you have to pull something which is like a real-life “gacha”. Any how Genshin Impact is developed and published by the Chinese studio miHoYo, now called HOYOVERSE. In the game, players control a number of party members, each with different abilities, weapons, and gear. Genshin Impact is a game that was released on September 28, 2020. But when it was released, it was very different from how it is now, and thanks to the changes in Genshin Impact it had gained a lot of popularity. The game had a development and marketing budget of around $100 million, making it one of the most expensive video games to develop.

How To Play

The first thing you want to do is to save up your mora (mora=game money). To obtain the money you just need to kill monsters and do quests. Speaking of quests, if you are a starter character you MUST do your commissions and quests. The reason behind this is that this is the easiest way to level up and get more knowledge about the game. Genshin Impact is an online-only adventure that heavily leans into a story and multiplayer — with many features you’d see in popular games as a service, for example, daily quests, rewards, loot, and other things to keep you checking in.

Interesting Facts

Many people found out that there are a lot of similarities between Genshin’s impact and a game that’s called the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wind. And people are guessing that there is a big possibility that Genshin’s visual design and the gameplay had been influenced by the Legend of Zelda. If you already played Genshin then you probably already knew that on your birthday, Genshin will celebrate by giving you a cake, so make sure to go online on your birthday. If you didn’t notice already, Genshin Impact’s location is actually inspired by the real world, Monstadt is Germany because Monstadt is known as the City of Freedom. If you look further into the Archon, Quest will grant you the freedom to explore the various aspects of this beautiful city-state, including the evident European-inspired architecture believed to be influenced by the locations and cultures of Germany. And the same goes for Liyua and Inazuma, Liyua is based in China and Inazuma in Japan.
