Wardell Stephen Curry II, also known as Steph Curry, is the greatest NBA shooter to ever exist.  He was born on March 14, 1988, in Akron General Medical Center, Akron, Ohio, also where LeBron James was born.  He has a dad named Wardell who was a 3-point specialist in the NBA and a mom named Sonya Curry.  Steph also lived with his brother Seth Curry and his sister Sydel Curry who is married to Steph’s teammate Damian Lee.

Steph Curry grew up in the city of Charlotte, North Carolina.  He grew up in Charlotte because his father, Wardell Curry, played in the NBA as a Charlotte Hornet.  He played for the Charlotte Hornets.  Steph Curry went to Charlotte Christion School and Davidson College. In 2009, Curry was drafted to the NBA to play for the Golden State Warriors, which is when his career started to take off.

Steph Curry has achieved many things throughout his NBA career as a Golden State Warrior. Steph Curry is a 6’3” guard in the NBA.   Being one of the greatest shooters, he has the record for most 3-pointers in the NBA and NCAA (college basketball). He also has a 3 time NBA champion in 2015, 2017, 2018,  1st All-time in 3 pointers made in NBA history: 2,977,  2x NBA most valuable player in 2015, 2016, 8 time NBA All-Star in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, he has the NBA regular season record for made three-pointers: 402.  He also has the NBA record for most three-pointers made in a single playoff: 98 – tied with his teammate Klay Thompson.  NBA Finals record for most three-pointers made in a game: 9. If I were to keep going, the list would go on for hours but those are some of the hardest achievements in the NBA and Stephen Curry managed to do it.

That concludes the achievements that Steph Curry had in the NBA.  He is the greatest known shooter on the planet and he is my favorite player in the NBA.  The Warriors have a lot of potential to win the NBA finals and I hope they win it all.
