The History of Minecraft

Minecraft is the top-selling game and is easy to see why with its multiplayer mode quickly taking it to the top. It was the brainchild of Notch who was a game developer, he worked on Minecraft during his off-hours and he released it to the TIGSource forum, a forum for independent game developers. After his peers gave feedback he updated the game to nowadays the classic version and a few more updates which were the indev and infdevs versions were done. Then on June 30, 2010, the alpha version was released to Minecraft. Notch quit his job to focus on Minecraft and then he made Mojang with the money from the game and his previous colleagues Carl Manneh and Jakob Porser. With this Minecraft was being updated regularly and the face of Minecraft survival. Minecraft grew at a rapid pace after these big updates. The full version of Minecraft with every update was released on the 18 of November 2011. As Minecraft was growing Jeb became the lead designer and notch was the head of Minecraft. As Minecraft grow it got with more partners and things were being updated frequently as more mobs, and new blocks were being introduced. The entirety of Minecraft was bought by Microsoft in 2017 along with Mojang and this deal was suggested by notch himself. Despite this, the game got new updates and boss fights. It also made it to almost any electronic at home even your phone. This has made Minecraft one of the most played games ever with over 200 million copies sold and 125 million daily members. The originality of Minecraft and its creativity and simplicity is what make it as good as it is.
