SuperBowl LVI: Rams VS Bengals

The NFL 2021-2022 season has just ended. The Super Bowl is February 13th, and the Los Angeles Rams are facing the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals have been the underdog for a lot of games, beating some of the best teams in the AFC division. While the Rams have been in the Super Bowl multiple times giving them a little bit of an advantage while this will be the Bengal’s first in 33 years.

Why the Rams should win:

The Los Angeles Rams have a balanced team with a strong offensive line. The Rams also have an edge in the game because of their past Super Bowl experiences, along with being in their home field. They have great defensive pressure and have a new and improved passing game. With a condensed formation, one running back, one tight end, and three wide receivers. This allows them to stress the defensive backs. They also have a more complete team in terms of offensive and defensive sides. The Rams will take advantage of the Bengals’ offensive line, pressuring them wherever they can. The Rams also have a lot of star players like Aaron Donald, Cooper Cupp, Jalen Ramsey, Matthew Stafford, Von Miller, and Odell Beckham Jr.

Why the Bengals should win

For starters, the Cincinnati Bengals have been the underdogs for many games but have still won. Some of the reasons for this are that their players are young and talented, and Joe Burrow, the Bengals QB is the difference in a close game. With enough time, the Bengals can dissect the Rams with patience and strategy.

Here are some predictions that people thought would happen. Marc Ross, an analyst on the NFL network thinks that Ja’marr Chase will set a Super Bowl rookie receiving world record with 2 TD receptions. Jeffri Chadiha thinks that the Bengals will force 3 turnovers against the Rams. Cynthia Frelund, a sports reporter, believes that the Bengals will lead until the fourth quarter. DeAngelo Hall, a famous Football quarterback, thinks that Donald has 5 sacks to beat the world record of 4.

In the end

In the end, the Rams won the Super Bowl with 23 points vs the Bengals 20 points. I think that the Rams deserved the win, especially after working hard throughout the season. The Rams have won 2 Super Bowls in total.
