 Stan Lee is a famous comic creator and his comics have become real movies! Stan Lee was born on December 28, 1922 as Stanley Martin Leiber and died on November 12, 2018.Stan Lee spent part of his childhood during the Great Depression. He and his younger brother, Larry watched their parents struggle to get what the family needed. Stan Lee was an American comic book writer, editor, publisher, and producer. At his first job Stan Lee quickly moved up titles in Timely Publications. He also served in the Army during the World War ll. Later he was Marvel Comics Primary creative leader. Initially he wrote  comics with Jack Kirby, an artist for Marvel Comics. In the early 1960’s, Stan created the series Fantastic 4 for Marvel Super Comics, with his co-creator Jack Kirby Fantastic 4 is a superhero team consisting of Reed Richards who has the ability to have an elastic body. Ben Grimm who has a massive rock body. Susan Storm, who has the power of invisibility and force fields. and Johnny Storm who has the power to cover himself in flames and to fly. After the success of Fantastic 4, Marvel Comics became very popular, so Stan Lee became extremely famous and he was promoted to editorial director. Stan Lee is known for his creative characters and the fact that he writes about real world issues which many other comic creators do not. Stan Lee has inspired many things Including Iron Man, Thor, X-men, and Avengers! In 2001 Stan Lee started a comic company called POW! Entertainment and autobiography of Stan Lee called Excelsior! In 2008, Stan Lee directed the first ever Marvel movie called Iron Man. This movie was immensely  popular and it has made a great impact in the world. After that Stan Lee created many more Marvel movies and played a key role in helping to make Marvel movies famous! But in 2017, Stan Lee was sent to the hospital, and many were worried. He had a bad heart problem, and on November 12, 2018, he died. The world was very upset about this, but that doesn’t mean that Marvel is over. Nobody can forget the legacy of Stan Lee!
