Houston Astros Won The World Series But Were Caught Cheating

The Houston Astros won the world series in 2017 but were caught cheating. They played against the LA Dodgers and were caught for stealing signs. Someone that worked for the Houston Astros would see what sign the catcher was putting down. Then the batter who had a wire on his chest and the person that was stealing the signs would indicate what pitch was coming by alerting the batter by buzzing his chest with beeps. The number of beeps would tell what pitch was coming.

Another way the Astros cheated was when they had someone bang a trash can or something else to notify the batter of which pitch was coming. Silence would be a fastball, 2 bangs would be a changeup and so on. This gave the Astros an extreme advantage because if they know what pitch is coming then they can easily make contact and get a hit. It is like knowing the answers to a test before you take it. This resulted in the Houston Astros winning the world series. The Houston Astros also cheated before the world series. They cheated against the New York Yankees in the 2017 ALCS. It was game 6 and the Astros were winning the series 3-2. You need 4 wins to move on to the next round, the World Series. It was the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs and a tie game. Jose Altuve came up and hit a walk off home run to win the Series. The Astros were AL champs and were going to the World Series. Later people found out that they had cheated resulting in a lot of hate for the Astros. Especially from the LA Dodgers because the Astros had stolen a world series from them.
