Owning a pet requires a lot of responsibility. Some pets on the other hand don’t require as much responsibility. This means they live in a cage, they need only food, water, and a clean cage/ tank. Dogs, cats, and other animals that walk around the house require training and attention.
1.Rodents. Rodents are common as childhood pets due to the fact that they don’t need too much. Food, water, a cage, and a hamster wheel, along with a little attention keep them happy. Some rodents, such as guinea pigs, are social animals so they need at least 1 or more guinea pig friends to be happy.
2.Snakes. Sounds like a freaky pet to own but why not? Pet stores will only sell them if they are non-venomous snakes. So your
snake will just slither on your stuff doing no harm at all. It’s the same, snakes need food (mice), food, water, a clean tank, a small hiding place to chill, and plants to hide in.
3.Fish. A fish should be an obvious low maintenance pet. It needs to be fed 2-3 times a day and will stay in his/her tank which should be cleaned every 1-2 weeks. Pretty easy, right?
4.Pugs. Yes, I said dogs are high maintenance but pugs are great for beginner pet/ dog owners. But this breed is small, making them easier to handle. They barely bark, sleep a lot and are just easier to control in general. Social interaction is important for them so they don’t get scared during walks.
Parents would like you to be responsible but if you aren’t up to the limit of responsibility, then these pets may interest you to adopt.
