Mallards

Mallards

Mallards are a type of duck that… Some of them are brown and some of them are green. The brown mallards are female and the green mallards are male. That’s how you can define which gender is which. Their habitats are in any wetland, you can find them in ponds, lakes,  marshes, rivers, and coastal habitats, as well as city and suburban parks and residential backyards. If you ever find a duck and you want to feed it you can feed, cracked corn, wheat, barley, or similar grains such as oats, rice, and milo seeds. If you ever find a duck and you have one of these items you can feed it next time.

The male, or drake, is the more distinctively colored of the mallards. Its iconic green head sits atop a white neckband that sets off a chestnut-colored chest and gray body. The male mallard has its iconic green head sits atop a white neckband that sets off a chestnut-colored chest and gray body. This can help you distinguish which mallard is which.

In reality ducks are used as food/ human use. People in reality eat duck because they enjoy it. You can probably buy duck at a local grocery store where they sell produce. If you enjoy eating ducks you can buy it at your local produce market.

Mallards are a cute species of ducks. My personal favorite mallard are the male ducks because you never get to see someone or something with a green head. So if I saw it, it would be considered rare.
