About Kobe Bryant 


Kobe Bryant was an American professional basketball player playing as a shooting guard for the Lakers. Bryant had been the idol of many young basketball players. He was top on the NBA career’s scoring list until topped by Lebron just recently and has won many awards including his MVP award. With Bryant, the Lakers had won 3 consecutive NBA championships. He had 4 children, Natalia, Bianka, Capri, and Gianna (who unfortunately passed away along with her dad), and his wife, Vanessa. Bryant was a role model to many, making his death significant to many lives. 


How Our Star Died Along With 8 Others

Bryant died along with 8 others due to a helicopter crash, as he was heading to a youth basketball event. Despite the foggy weather, the group of 9 passengers still decided to ride in the air, and caused problems with their ability to land; though the cause of the crash is under research by investigators at the moment. 


The Untold Story 


Everyone grieves over Kobe Bryant, which for sure was an important figure to many, but what about the other people that crashed along with him? If Kobe hadn’t been part of the crash, the crash probably wouldn’t have even been in the news! Kobe died among 8 others on the helicopter, including his daughter Gianna Bryant, a baseball coach named John along with his wife and daughter, and other friends of his. Some of the victims include John Altobelli, a basketball coach who’s passion was unforgettable, along with his wife, Keri, and youngest 13 year old daughter, Alyssa (who was practically best friends with Gianna). Christiana Mauser is also among those who died. She was the assistant coach for the team. Some others also include Sarah Chester and her 13 year old daughter Payton, people admire their personalities and wish them the best. Finally, Ara Zobayan, the pilot of the helicopter.
