What is a Juul? 

Juul is a new type of e-cigarette that has become popular among teens recently.

 

Ingredients of a Juul:

Glycerin, a compound of polyol and it tastes sweet and is a non-toxic liquid which it is usually in food, Propylene, an organic compound, and is colorless. It has a slight sweet taste in it, Nicotine, is a chemical that contains nitrogen, and is made from different types of plants,

and Food-Grade Flavoring, a liquid extract, essences, or flavor added to foods to enhance taste and aroma.

 

 

Why are Juuls so Popular Among Teens? 

Juuls are a type of e-cigarette that is popular for people from the ages of 15 to 25. 

Juuls are small in size, so they are easy to carry around, which unfortunately means they can be hidden and carried to many places like school and work.

 

Why Do Teens Juul?

Teens usually start to use Juuls because they think Juuls contain less nicotine than cigarettes; in fact, Juuls contain about the same amount of nicotine as one whole pack of cigarettes! A cigarette contains about 10 to 12mg of nicotine, so imagine how much nicotine teens are inhaling when they juul. Teens also start to juul because they think it’s cool and want to fit in.

 

 

Juuls are Bad for Your Health

Why is Juuling bad for people’s health? Juuling is bad for people because a single Juul contains chemicals that are not supposed to be inhaled, and can cause many problems to people’s health, like addiction risk of seizures, pneumonia, and popcorn lungs.
