There are many expensive clothing brands in this world, also known as luxury brands or designer clothing. Some of these luxury brands include Supreme, Louis Vuitton, and Gucci. These brands sold are all over the world as they sell in shops and online.

 

Gucci:

Gucci is the most popular expensive brand in the world, with a net worth of  $12.4 billion as of May 2015. Named one of the ¨hottest¨ luxury brands in the world, Gucci was founded by Guccio Gucci in the 1920´s in Florence, Italy. Guccio along with his sons continued to expand the company around the world. The business has been passed down to his his sons Aldo, Vasco, Ugo and Rodolfo Gucci, and Marco Bizzarri has been the CEO of Gucci since January 1, 2015. One shirt with the logo, “Gucci” on it costs $490. Popular logo handbags run from $1,000 to $4,000.There are only 550 Gucci stores in the world.

 

Supreme:

Supreme is a skateboard and clothing brand established by James Jebbia in New York City in April 1994. This independent label has become a popular underground streetwear brand, boasting a cult following eager for its coveted range of tees, footwear and branded products. With an exclusive retail strategy, Jebbia only operates eleven Supreme stores, around the world. One Supreme hoodie with the logo, costs $450. Supreme’s main buyers are the teenagers. Supreme stickers and skateboarding parts are also sold for skateboards, scooters or BMX’s.

 

Louis Vuitton:

   Louis Vuitton was a French trunk and box-maker who founded the luxury brand. The label that was founded by Vuitton in 1854 on Rue Neuve des Capucines in Paris, France. In 1870, however, Vuitton’s business was interrupted by the outbreak of the Franco-Prussian War and the subsequent siege of Paris. However, after the war, Lois continued his business to create one of the most popular brands sold. 

 

 

These luxury brands earn millions of dollars a year, as they sell thousands of products for extremely high prices. People buy these brands because it gives them a sense of luxury, making them look and feel cool, and of course, if they can afford it,  they simply like the patterns that these brands supply. However, many people think that these brands are simply not worth the price, as they can get less expensive clothes from other brands.
